“Dance of All the Senses” Festival – Rohee | Simon Senn & Rohee Uberoi

Can we encode a traditional dance?
The Swiss artist Simon Senn and the Indian dancer Rohee Uberoi decided to encode the movements of Bharata natyam. This proved to be in opposition to the very traditions of his teaching.
This show is the story of their meeting and of this enterprise that they had to interrupt. A documentary, autofictional and theatrical investigation into the links between tradition and contemporaneity, sacred art and technology, cultural identity and universal knowledge.
