The exhibition, installed in the municipal hall, will present period military equipment (uniform button, helmet, ammunition boxes, etc.), everyday objects (razor, cigarette packets, ration box, bicycles, etc.). ) as well as period archives. Some objects have never been revealed to the public.

Take advantage of this historical exhibition to discover the two Remembrance Rooms located in the two towers of the castle. The first pays homage to the 11th British Armored Division, having the bull as its emblem. This division liberated Flers and its region. You can see medals, flags and portraits of veterans who fought there.
As for the second room, it pays tribute to the Resistance fighters of Flers (Paulette Duhalde, Jacques Durmeyer...) and to the Flériens who were deported. Among the objects on display: a piece of brick from a concentration camp oven...

Videos and period images will complete this exhibition.
