In the heart of the village of Camembert, an authentic XNUMXth century Norman farm houses the Maison du Camembert!
The museum presents the history of the famous Norman cheese, its manufacturing secrets through time, from traditional production on Norman farms to today's cheese dairies. You will discover an exceptional collection of camembert labels from all over the world!
Extend your visit to the Clos de Beaumoncel cheese dairy to discover the different stages in the production of Camembert de Normandie thanks to the bay windows which immerse you in the heart of the workshops and the videos which explain the transformation of milk into Camembert de Normandie AOP.
At the end of your visit, for a gourmet conclusion, a plate with 4 portions of camemberts is offered to you to compare all types of camemberts (pasteurized, thermized, raw, etc.).
