The Monument of Saint Clair is built in homage to the executions of Saint-Clair. A monument that most symbolizes the resistance in Normandy, in the heart of the Suisse Normande. This is the story of a resistance group led by Jean Renaud-Dandicolle, originally from Bordeaux. Trained in England, his mission was to unite groups of resistance fighters in Lower Normandy and prepare them for action against the enemy. They will be at the heart of the battle that began on June 6, 1944
