Morning idea 1: Visit of the Graindorge cheese village in Livarot

• Duration of the visit: 1h30

Start your day with an immersion in the heart of the Normandy region! The Graindorge cheese village of Livarot opens its doors to you for a unique visit. This will reveal all the manufacturing secrets of Livarot and Pont-l'Evêque AOP from Normandy. Through a corridor of glazed galleries, observe the staff at work and thus follow the different stages of manufacture.

Your visit will end with a tasty tasting of the essential cheeses of the Graidorge company.

Morning idea 2: Guided tour of Les Arpents du Soleil, the first vineyard in Normandy

• Supplement of 7€ per person

Is there anything more unusual than a vineyard in the heart of Normandy? Gérard Samson welcomes you to his farm to present his activity to you. Acres of the Sun, the leading vineyard in Normandy since 1995, benefits from a microclimate, a very particular orientation and exceptional sunshine, which explains the quality of its wines. Let the owner of the premises, a passionate winegrower, tell you about the history and specificities of his vineyard.

Lunch break at the Château de Vendeuvre

• Traditional all-inclusive restaurant menu: aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, coffee, wine)

For an atypical gourmet break, we suggest you have lunch in an 18th century castle! Your meal, prepared by the restaurant "La Fine Fourchette" in Falaise, will be served in the old stables of the Château of Vendeuvre.

Back to the Age of Enlightenment at the Château de Vendeuvre

In the afternoon, embark on a journey to the Age of Enlightenment by visiting one of our most beautiful Norman castles! Built in 1741, Vendeuvre Castle is still inhabited by the same family who maintains the estate with passion and an insatiable desire to share an authentic family history. Find in the rooms of the castle the decorations and the furniture of yesteryear, without forgetting the perfectly restored kitchens.

Outside, take a stroll through the sumptuous gardens mixing French and English styles. During your walk, let yourself be surprised by the different atmospheres and the water games.

Guided tour of a donkey farm with milking demonstration

Welcome to the Donkey paradise in the Pays d'Auge ! Sylvia and Jean-François Hotton welcome you to introduce you to their donkey breeding and pass on their passion to you.

Your Flavors & History day will end with a milking demonstration. The opportunity for you to learn a little more about the many benefits of donkey's milk.
