Landings and Battle of Normandy

You intend to participate in the great commemorative sequence of the 80^rd anniversary of the Landings and the Battle of Normandy by organizing an event? Would you like to benefit from increased visibility and would like to submit your event to us? It's possible !

Conditions for submitting an event

The Falaise – Suisse Normande Tourist Office invites you to promote your action on its communication media provided that the following criteria are respected :

Concerning the Pays de Falaise
OU more broadly the sector concerned by military operations from August 8 to August 21, 1944 (operation TOTALIZE at the end of the Battle of the Falaise – Chambois pocket)
Be open to the general public (free or paid)
For tourist-oriented activities : be labeled by the Normandy Region
For commemorations : having carried out the census process with the Region

Compliance with these conditions will allow you to benefit from the regional dynamic and will allow you to identify, with the public, as an actor committed to respecting the values held by Normandy and in particular the ethical charter.

You will thus be able to claim the use of the logo and more broadly the regional communication kit available here.

Have your event labeled

Labeling allows you to benefit from additional visibility and assure the public of the quality and historical and ethical rigor of the projects. This is a voluntary approach which requires meeting the specifications defined by the institutions concerned.

• Normandy Region Label :
For festive and commemorative projects with a tourist dimension.

• Commemorations may be the subject of a specific census by the Region.

• Mission 80 label^e :
For projects focusing on commemoration and transmission.
→ Obtain the “80 years of the Liberation” label
