Step 1

The starting point is located in the parking lot of the Town Hall of Versainville.

Step 2

Head towards the stop sign and at the crossroads, turn right following the arrows and right again at the next crossroads. Continue straight on the path which is the old Roman road. Go down a sunken path to reach a small valley called “Le Fond du Val”.

Step 3

Continue straight and turn at the second path on the left. At the top of the slight climb, turn right to enter the small wood. At the exit of the wood on the right, we find the road which leads to the aerodrome. After about 200 m take the first path on the left and follow the airfield.

Step 4

After about a kilometer, take the path to the right (signposted) then cross the pine forest and the wood. Go straight down towards the D 248 by a shady path. Pass behind the Norman house.

Step 5

Take the D248 to the right for a few meters then turn left at the Château du Mesnil Soleil. Turn right in front of the garage built in red bricks. Take the grassy path. Continue straight to the left. After a steep and stony descent, arrival at the mill. On the right, follow the old reach to arrive on the D 248a at the entrance to the village of Eraines, turn right.

Step 6

At the top of the hill, take the path (former Roman road) to the left before entering the village of Versainville. Before entering the hamlet of La Vallée, turn right on the small tarred path uphill to emerge on the right under Les Ormelles.

Step 7

Pass in front of the Château and at the next crossroads, turn right and go down the main street to reach the car park.
