Step 1

In Epaney, church square.

Step 2

Leave the pond and take the D 247 towards Saint-Pierre-Canivet. At the intersection at the top of the street, turn right and go up the road. At the top, turn left to gradually move away from the houses and take a shady path. Take the 1st path on the right to return to the village and find yourself facing a very old farmhouse with an enclosed courtyard.

Step 3

Turn left for 200 meters then turn left while climbing a path along the Bois de Catillon. Join the D 246 and follow it to the right while bypassing the wood. Turn left.

Step 4

Take the long path on the left of Gallic origin called “Sente au Bœuf” as far as the D 91. Take the path opposite then go down the 1st path on the right towards the hamlet of Epaney fountain. Cross the D 88.

Step 5

Follow the paved road on the left for 200 meters and take the path on the right which leads to the washhouse of Fontaine. Continue this shady path which will then cross a vast plain. At the 1st crossroads, turn right and continue while crossing a road to the hamlet of La Maison Blanche.

Step 6

Cross the D 88 and finish the walk by the very shaded Sente de Saint-Martin. Go past the wash house and back to the church square.
